Feeding Drama and Cold Warnings

Ishan’s POV

I came out of the washroom.

Face normal.

Expression normal.

Heartbeat… slightly not normal.

But no one noticed.

Good.

Very good.

I walked back to the group like nothing happened.

Everyone was sitting around the big round tables now, still recovering from the dance war.

Surya dada clapped his hands loudly.

“Chalo saalo, khana khalo.”

Groans immediately filled the table.

“Mujhe nahi khana,” Abhishek said dramatically.

“Mujhe bhook nahi hai,” Tilak added.

I stared at both of them.

Slowly.

Dangerously.

“Dono ke 64 daat tod dunga main.”

Then I pointed at Abhishek.

“Or tu laddu.”

“We worked hard today.”

“Bimar ho jayega tu.”

Before Abhishek could reply—

Siraj shouted loudly across the table,

“Abhishek ki biwi gussa ho gayi!”

The entire table exploded with laughter.

Hardik bhai leaned back in his chair laughing.

“Love birds phir shuru ho gaya!”

Abhishek grinned like the menace he is.

Then he stretched his arms toward me dramatically.

“Khila de phir.”

“Manu mein.”

I rolled my eyes.

“Done.”

He sat properly in the chair.

And then—

This idiot hugged my waist from the side.

“Aisa roomie bhagwan sabko de.”

Then he dramatically placed his head against my side.

“Hayy mera Ishhieee.”

The table lost it again.

Some of the players were laughing.

Some were recording videos.

Some were just watching the drama.

Across the table—

My mother-in-law was laughing openly.

Clearly enjoying this chaos.

Some people around us looked like they found it adorable.

And then—

I noticed Sara.

Rolling her eyes like she swallowed a lemon.

Good.

Let her watch.

I picked up a spoon and scooped some food.

Then shoved it toward Abhishek.

“Open.”

He obediently opened his mouth like a baby bird.

“Good boy,” I said.

Tilak nearly fell off his chair laughing.

Siraj clapped loudly.

“Dekho dekho domestic scene!”

Hardik pointed at us.

“Shaadi kab hai batao!”

I ignored them and fed Abhishek another bite.

Then another.

And another.

Meanwhile—

Across the table.

I felt it.

Shubman’s gaze.

Cold.

Sharp.

Warning.

I looked up.

Our eyes met.

His expression didn’t change.

But his eyes clearly said—

Bas karo.

I smiled sweetly at him.

And fed Abhishek another spoon.

Tilak suddenly leaned forward.

“Mujhe bhi khila.”

I blinked.

“Seriously?”

“Ha.”

I sighed.

“Fine.”

I gave Tilak one bite.

Immediately Shivay raised his hand.

“Mujhe bhi.”

I stared at him.

“You are perfectly capable of feeding yourself.”

“Par mujhe bhi service chahiye.”

The entire table started chanting.

“Feed him! Feed him!”

I groaned.

Then fed Shivay one spoon.

Satisfied, he leaned back.

Then Tilak again.

“Ek aur.”

I pointed my spoon at him.

“Zyada natak mat kar.”

But I still fed him.

Siraj laughed loudly.

“Bhai yeh toh canteen service ban gaya!”

Hardik nodded.

“Next Jadeja ka number.”

“Bilkul nahi,” I said immediately.

Everyone laughed again.

For a moment I suddenly felt something strange.

A small empty feeling.

Mayank.

He would have been laughing the loudest right now.

But he was too tired from work today, so he didn’t come.

And Ro bhai and Vi bhai already left early.

The table felt slightly incomplete.

But the chaos continued anyway.

Then suddenly—

A chair moved beside me.

I turned slightly.

Shubman had stood up from his seat.

He walked toward our table.

Calm.

Composed.

CEO walk.

Everyone slowly quieted.

He stopped beside me.

Looked at the plate in my hand.

Then at me.

Then said calmly—

“Tum khud kab khaoge?”

I blinked.

“Huh?”

“You fed half the table.”

He pulled a chair beside me.

Sat down.

Then took the spoon gently from my hand.

Scooped some food.

A

nd held it in front of me.

“Open.”

The entire table went silent.

Siraj’s jaw dropped.

Tilak froze.

Hardik looked like he just watched a plot twist.

I stared at the spoon.

Then at him.

Shubman’s face remained calm.

But his eyes…

Those eyes clearly said—

My turn. 😌🔥
